Families often come to us when everyday life is feeling difficult.
We can help when a child or young person:
• is overwhelmed by noise, touch, movement or busy environments
• finds it hard to regulate emotions or energy
• has difficulties with coordination, handwriting, dressing or everyday tasks
• is using a great deal of effort to take part at school
• experiences anxiety, shutdowns or distress following demands
• has developmental trauma or attachment-related needs
A confirmed diagnosis is not required to make a referral.
Our occupational therapists look beneath behaviour to understand the child's sensory, physical, emotional and environmental needs. We then work with families, schools and other professionals to create practical support that fits everyday life.
How We Work
We aim to work as flexibly as possible, providing assessment and treatment in homes, and schools across Cornwall and the Southwest.
We provide a prompt service that offers robust evidence-based assessment and recommendations to maximise a person's developmental potential.
We work alongside and in collaboration with the NHS and other organisations when required.

Our Vision
Our vision is for children and young people to feel safe, understood and able to take part in the everyday activities that matter to them.
We provide specialist paediatric occupational therapy for children and young people across Cornwall. Our work brings together sensory processing, movement, emotional wellbeing, relationships and the demands of each environment.
Therapy is playful, meaningful and tailored to each child's strengths, interests and developmental needs. We work alongside families, schools and other professionals so that support is practical, compassionate and sustainable.
